
Get Ready! Somerset Timbers’ clients will soon be able to track their orders and shipments thanks to LOOP, a delivery system to boost service and help streamline customer service processes.
A locally developed platform Somerset Timbers has adopted this system for better efficiency in several areas. For the logistic team LOOP will support better load planning with things like the most efficient delivery route being calculated.
For customers, LOOP ensures Somerset Timbers can provide a better service and delivery experience. This is enabled through an SMS link sent to the customer that provides live delivery updates. This includes
- Delivery ETA (estimated time of arrival)
- Driver name and image of the driver
- A map with live tracking of the vehicle and its location
