At Somerset Timber, we make quality, knot-free finger-jointed timber using our state-of-the-art finger-jointing machine.
This machine removes wood knots and re-joins different size timber lengths by interlocking their “fingers” and gluing them together under pressure. Not only does the finger-jointing process create long strong lengths of quality timber, it significantly reduces wasted offcuts by turning them into usable timber products.
