April 8th is Open Day at Somerset Timbers and clients and members of the public are invited to meet our team of experts and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at our timber yard.
Our team will take you on a guided tour of the yard with some in-action displays of moulding, finger-jointing and pressure treatment processes. We will also have a few of our key suppliers on hand to chat with you, including:
🌲 SPAX our supplier of high-quality Spacers and Washer head screws designed specifically for timber use.
🌲 RYSTIX TIMBERCARE which supplies us with deep-penetrating moisture resistant timber sealers.
🌲 TRADELINK WOOD who is responsible for procuring our Garapa, Jatoba and Balau and Red Grandis Hardwood decking.
On Open Day only, we are offering 10% off our popular Galseal Timber Sealer ideal for exterior decking and fencing. This easy to use timber oil does not form a surface coating but rather penetrates the timber allowing easy maintenance. Galseal is available in Mahogany (dark chocolate brown), Teak (red to brown) and Light Oak (almost clear). We will also offer our beautiful cheese boards at a discounted price.
